About Seed Shelf Lights

A small independent site about lighting seedlings on a shelf.

Seed Shelf Lights is run by an independent publisher who researches and writes each page from university extension sources. The pages are not written from hands-on product testing, and they will say so if that ever changes.

What this site is

A calculator and a set of guides for people lighting seed starting shelves. Horticulture facts come from university extension services and each page links its sources. Where the sources disagree, the page says so.

What it is not

It is not a product testing lab. If a page says a product was tested, it was. Otherwise product pages are based on published specifications and listing details, and they say so. See how we pick products.
